Wildscreen Festival starts online today!

Starting today, Monday 19th October, long-running Bristol-based film festival, Wildscreen Festival, will be holding their very first virtual festival celebrating natural history film and documentaries.

We can’t wait to listen in on a conversation between Sir David Attenborough and Greta Thunberg on Tuesday 20th October. They are separated by 77 years in age but united by a shared passion to protect the natural world. This is a unique chance to hear two of the most influential figures of our time honestly discussing their opinions of where we are now and where we need to be.

David and Greta both commend the vital work and the importance of conservation stories told through film. As Greta told Wildscreen, “Films and movies have the power to open our eyes.”

Other keynote speakers include Dr Jane Goodall and Hollywood director James Cameron. Please join us at Bristol Science Film Festival in supporting this local festival and celebrate the power of film in the science community and further!
